Lake Forest is a community in the truest sense of the word. Full of neighbors who genuinely like getting to know one another and people who support local businesses, life in Lake Forest is a chance to be part of something bigger. That's why long-time resident Lori Baker raised her four daughters here. For more than two decades, Lori has worked as a respected agent within the community.
It was Lori's love of her hometown that motivated her to get into real estate. Grateful for the strong community and sense of joy she and her family found living there, Lori wanted to find a way to share that feeling. Real estate was the perfect way for her to share her adoration and knowledge of the community with her clients, and her favorite part of the job is helping people find their dream home.
Her daughter and work partner Alissa McNicholas has similarly strong feelings for the region. Together, they make a dynamic mother/daughter duo well-versed in all aspects of Lake Forest life.
Loyal, resourceful, and tenacious, Lori's passion for Lake Forest's history and the community make her a valuable resource to any prospective client looking to buy or sell a home. You’d be hard-pressed to find an agent as dedicated and enthusiastic about the area as Lori. She has even spent time serving in various board member positions for the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff History Center, Chamber of Commerce, and United Way.
Since 2000, Lori has received recognition for being a top-producing agent in the community year after year. Her first year on the job garnered her the acclaimed title of Rookie of the Year, and her track record has remained impeccable ever since. Lori is immensely proud to have created a lasting legacy of service to her clients.
Lori loves spending time with her three grandsons, all of whom reside in Lake Forest. She always makes time to attend their games, as each one loves almost every sport from hockey to baseball! In her downtime, she enjoys tending to her garden and visiting the local Elawa Farm and Farmer's Market.
